MAKSWELD MKGT-4000 Gouging Torch is a high quality tool used to remove metal rather than cut it completely through. Instead of making straight cuts, it creates grooves (gouges) in the base material. It’s mainly used in metal preparation, defect removal, and weld repairs.

  • Removing cracks, weld defects, or old welds.
  • Creating a groove for back welding.
  • Removing corroded or damaged metal.
  • Chamfering or shaping edges.
